Where do I enter my discount code?
If you have received a discount code or gift voucher, after adding your selected workshop to your cart, simply click checkout. On the checkout page there is an area to enter your code and have the discounted amount removed from the total price.
What’s the difference between “Workshops" and “Open Studio Sessions” sessions?
Workshops are hands on, project based classes that teach practical skills and techniques while working step-by-step on a particular project.
Open Studio Sessions are individually paced sessions where you have the opportunity to come into the studio and work on your own personal projects. These sessions are open to all skill level and have expert tuition on hand where needed to help you bring your project to life.
Where are you located?
The studio is located in Chislehurst just a 5 mins walk from the Royal Parade and conveniently accessed by buses and free on street parking. Please visit the contact page for public transportation details.
For security reasons our specific address has been omitted. After booking your workshop you will be sent the address of the studio in your confirmation email.
Can I arrange to come see the studio before enrolling in a class?
If you would like to see the studio and examples of projects made in the workshops prior to registering please send and email to info@creative-escape-studio.com to arrange a time and date to view the studio.
How do I make a booking and guarantee my place for a workshop?
All bookings and payment can be made through the website with a credit card. All payments through the checkout are processed and protected by Stripe & PayPal.
No credit card information is ever stored on this site.
Full payments of the workshop fees must be made to guarantee your space. Once your payment has been received you will be sent an email confirmation.
I didn’t receive a confirmation email.

Something has come up and I can’t make the workshop. Can I get a refund or change my booking?
If you need to cancel or change the date of your workshop we can accommodate if sufficient notice is given. Please email info@creative-escape-studio.com no later than 7 days prior to the workshop date.
Unfortunately, if for any reason you need to cancel your place less than 7 day before the workshop no refund or transfer can be given.
If you find you are unable to attend you may also send someone in your place all we ask is to please email and let us know in advance.
My workshop has been cancelled. What happened?
In the event of unforeseen circumstances including illness or lack of numbers we reserve the right to cancel or move the workshop. All workshops are limited to 4 participants and a minimum of 2 participants are needed to make a class. Participants will be notified as soon as possible to offer an alternative date or refund - it's your choice.
Are all workshops suitable for beginners?
The majority of our workshops are for complete beginners or as a refresher for whose wanting to brush up on their skills. Any workshops that require pre-requisite skills are clearly noted in the workshop description.
Are materials included? What do I need to bring or wear?
All materials and tools are included for each workshop for their respective project. Additional materials can be purchased if your individual project falls outside the materials allotted.
Each workshop description will explain if you need to bring anything additional with you.
During Open Sessions sessions you are required to bring or purchase your own consumables.
Please wear comfortable ‘work’ clothes, with full shoes, long hair tied back, and no scarves, long necklaces or sleeves that could present a hazard. Studio aprons are provided.
Do you provide private group session or one-to one workshops?
Yes, happily! If you would like to book a workshop with one or more of your friends or one-to-one please email info@creative-escape-studio.com to arrange a date and time that suits. One-to-one private sessions are £35/hour. Private group workshops are based on the cost of the workshop and the number of people.
Can I make a specific piece of jewellery I have in mind during a workshop?
Each workshop has a specific project that teaches you the step by step skills which you can build on. If you are looking work on a specific project Open Studio Sessions would be a better fit. If in doubt please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
If you are looking to make something specific with advanced skills that isn’t covered in one of the workshops private tuition may be the best way to go.
Can I purchase a Gift Voucher?
Our workshops are the perfect gift! All gift vouchers can be purchased on our Gift Voucher page and are purchased like any other item on the website.
Gift vouchers can be purchased in a variety of denominations or for a specific workshop.
Gift Vouchers are individually created with a unique voucher code. All vouchers will be emailed electronically as an image to the purchaser’s email address within 24-48hours. If you have not received your voucher within 48hours please double check your spam/junk folder and email info@creative-escape-studio.com or fill out the contact us form and we will get back to your as soon as possible.
Voucher codes are automatically created with a 12 month validity from the date of issue. If you are purchasing the voucher in advance of gifting to the recipient please make a note of the date you would like the validity to start in the special instruction section of the gift voucher form. (The gift voucher form is a pop-up window that is displayed after adding your selected voucher value to your cart).
How do I redeem a Gift Voucher?
Gift vouchers can be redeemed by entering the unique promotion code on your voucher in the checkout section of the website after your chosen workshop has been added to your cart. The amount of the gift certificate will automatically be applied to your purchase.
Unfortunately the gift voucher must be redeemed in full and any unused balance left on the card will be lost. In this case if you would like to split your voucher please email info@creative-escape-studio.com and split value voucher codes will be created for you.
Gift vouchers cannot be redeemed for cash. Our standard cancellation policy applies to all workshops purchased with gift vouchers - please see FAQ’s for cancellation policy.

What ages do you teach?
For all our other workshops the age limit is aged 12 and up can participate however under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult. Specific Teen classes will be coming soon.
